Paula Furlong opened her first art studio “Paula’s Petite Picasso's” in Uxbridge, MA; which was in operation from 1988 to 1997. Petite Picasso’s provided group lessons for preschool and elementary age students in painting and drawing. Provided remote classes at preschools.

The Art Junction was formed in 2002 with a focus on providing art classes and private lessons to students of all ages. The curriculum was also greatly expanded to include calligraphy, 3-dimensional arts, crafts, and one-stroke painting.

Formal Education:

Northeastern University, Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Art.

Art Training

· Massasoit Community College, Majored in Fine Arts.

· Nantucket School of Design & Arts, Majored in Water Color.

· Studied with various award winning artists on the South Shore.

Awards:

Paula has won numerous 1’st and 2’nd place awards in Community art shows for Oil Paintings and Photography.

Art Association Participation:

Nashua Art Association

Past member of the Abington , Scituate, Cohasset, Plymouth, Marshfield, and Blackstone Valley Art Associations.
